Hello there! I am from Southern California but have only surfed twice. I’m literally always in the mood for legitimate Mexican food. Praise be to God, Kankakee County does not lack legitimate Mexican restaurants. I am the youngest of four in a family of six. I enjoy conversations with just about anyone. Since July 7th, 2017 I am part of the “Happily Married” club, and now my wife and I also have a child of our own. When I was around fourteen, I seriously committed my life to Jesus Christ. Since then, I have realized that living for Jesus is the greatest life anyone can live.
My name is often misspelled, but I assure you, I won't ignore you if you misspell it. My husband has even misspelled it. I obtained my BA from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Pastoral Ministry in 2016. I am currently working towards my Masters in Clinical Social Work. I love my community and feel very passionate about serving my community and fighting the injustices within our society. You can always assume the quality of the coffee I am drinking based on the amount of creamer I put into it. Hope to meet you soon!
“Hi, I’m Susan!” is my unofficial catch phrase. I love Jesus, people, laughter, three-part harmonies and a good cup of chai.
As a matter of fact, I drank a vanilla chai latte when I wrote this bio! Someone once told me being friends with me is like being friends with a walking interview; I found this to be quite the compliment! If everyone has been made in the image of God and the way to eternal life is to know God (John 17:3), this, in my opinion, necessitates community (a.k.a I want to know you!). As I have accepted and forever will declare Jesus as my Lord and personal Savior, my life has been transformed to live out and invite others into such love and acceptance. I thank God for your life and the joy to not only meet you, but to walk life with you too!
Hello! I enjoy serving others, cooking, napping, and being outside.
Cool thing: In 4th grade my public-school teacher brought me to her church and believe it or not she forgot me there. Soon after, I was a regular attender who dedicated her life to Christ, got baptized, and became a member. Because the love of Christ that has been shown to me throughout my entire life, I have committed my life to the service of others.
Living life with my Jesus isn’t always easy, but let me tell you it is worth it!
